Delightful Duthie Park, and the thing

Hello folks! Woof!
Today, Eve came and dognapped me, again! (she took me to Victoria park yesterday morning too)

We walked all the way from Rosemount to Duthie Park, which is a very long way for me if you don't know what I'm woofing about!

Plus, the sun came out! Other than a few light showers, it was over all a bee-aa-utiful day.
Enjoy reading...

Yes, I am here!
I chased after someone else's football, which was slightly embarrassing...

Bandstand and Blue Sky! Woof!

I cannot tell you how many places this ball has been to
The water to-be-paddle-boat-bit!
Heeheehee, I'm laughing because the sun's in your eyes Eve, woof!

Woof, these bushes weren't here last time
A last run around...
And then we walked along the old railway line!
I am allowed to woof to my hearts content here, because it says "make yourself heard"!
Woof, woof, wooooof!!!
This is called the Old Deeside Line.
Trains don't run along here anymore, but it is a nice walk!
We stopped and read the info along the way...well...Eve did...
We went into Pet Comforts.
This is me having a good sniff around the pigs snouts! Woof!
She bought me a thingie, but I was more interested in the free treat the mannie gave me.
Let's go home and see what the thingie is!
En route, we stopped in the park on her street...
We got to Eve and Grace's house. Woof

It's a flip-out water bottle attached to a bowl!
They fold in together and the bottle doesn't leak!
Hoorah!
It even has a strap for me to wear it...well, maybe Eve actually, woof!
After playing with the ball a bit...
A bit more...
And just a wee bittie more...
It was time for me to go home.
Eve's humans are getting rid of their 12 year-old Mini tomorrow, so today was my last chance to go in it. I won't be allowed in their new car when I next come and visit them  because it will be all lovely and clean.

I wasn't going to give Eve a seat...
That sun is bright!
I sat on her knee and we drove home, with Grace and their mum in the back.
Hello Aberdeen!!!
Thank you for coming along!

I would like to know if you sit in the front or the back of your peoples car!

I prefer sitting in the front because I can pop my head out the window. In the back, I'm always sick.

Hope you had a great day!

Bye for now,
Pippa :) wuf wuf

  1. What a wonderful place to go exploring - it is so much fun having someone to go walkies with you. As for the car - it is strictly back seat for us - new cars makers don't like us sitting in the front because of the air bags and Mom leaves our safety harnesses attached in the back so we are always clipped in.

  2. Dear Pippa,
I was so scared to see you sitting on the wrong side of the car, but mom told me that it is not wrong where you live! ;) So I'm quite reassured now! Your park pictures are sooo nice, we really love them all!

Well, you'll just have to work on changin' her mind...

  6. That looks like a great day Pippa - brilliant photos. Boris likes the idea of going in the car (back seat) but not the reality. Now he's older he panics a bit in the car so only short journeys of 30 minutes max!

  7. Looks like it was a fun dog-napping adventure! We sit in the back cuz we wear seat belts.

  8. What a great day. Looks so lovely!

Lee sits in the back seat in her seatbelt. She gets stressed in the front. Phod doesn't like the car and would prefer not to sit anywhere in it. When he does go in, he goes in the trunk, which is the worst for his sickness but he likes to spread out there.

    Happy driven'. Lee and Phod

Personally my preferred place in the car is anywhere I'm not supposed to be!

  11. Hi Pippa! You go to some beautiful places! I ride in the front with my seat belt because I am naughty in the back seat. And to answer your question, I will be going to my first official obedience trial in June!

  12. Do you ever see Bertie at Duthie Park? He goes there sometimes in all weather. It looks a great place to investigate.

Roxy and I, Daisy, sit in the back on the folded down seat. Bella, the chicken, sits on the floor behind the passenger seat.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy

  16. Pippa that looked like a fun day out. I too am always sick and I use to go in the boot but since we have a new car with a small boot I sit in the back and likewise stick my head out of the window. Such fun. Have a marvelous Monday.
    Best wishes Molly

  17. Oh Pippa that looked like a pawsome day out - especially the stop off at Pet Comforts :-) If I'm in the car I have to have a seat belt thingy at the back or I stay in my crate in the very back of the car - so not much looking out of the window there - but I don't mind as long as I get a fun walk when we get there :-) woofs and licks from Magic xx

  18. Wow Pippa, that looks like it was a wonderful outing. Andy My Vickie always loves your pictures especially when you are in them. She thinks you are BEAUTIFUL.

As for sitting in the front or back seat.....well, I know that us dogs should be secured wherever we go, but My Vickie (Shame on her) never did do that, so I pretty much sit anywhere I please. Most of the time I just lie down and sleep in the back of the van. Especislly after great adventures like the one you had. I am pretty pooped out and since she won't let me drive, I just figure I'll sleep all the wya home.

    Later Pippa

  19. You get to go to the neatest places Pippa! And you pose so patiently. I always sit in the back seat of the car. And most of the time I wear my doggy seat belt.

  20. Pippa you sure are one lucky pup to get to do so many fun adventures!!! Glad ya got to sit shotgun! Ma got me my own special recliner, car seat that I usually keep in the front seat... unless we have to travel with 2 other humans besides Ma...just one...THEY sit in the back...ha! Better views from the front and Ma can disengage the air bag so the car seat can work like it's supposed to. Either way is ok with me so long as we get to go somewhere fun!

  24. My the refurbishing of your park is moving along fast. I am anxious to see the paddleboats come. A new mini and you will not be allowed in, well will you have to run along side or what? I ride in the back seat in the center seatbelted up tight.

  25. What a cool walk Pippa! Glad you had fun.
I has to sit in the boot, so notthe front of the back I guess. Unless we in TNP's work van and then I sit in the footwell.

  26. Oh Pippa, that looks like a pawsome day - all that sunshine! She used to live near that Old Deeside Railway line so it brought back some happy memories for her! I sit in the back seat of our car (well, we don't have one in Japan but usually, that's where I would sit) - as a really special treat, I'm allowed to sit in the front but only if it's safe and I behave!

That Duthie Park looks like a PAWSOME place to run around!

    Woof
