Trick or Treat!

Hello folks!

I was supposed to be blogging about my weekend jaunt today (I know, late!) but I had to change that when this exciting parcel from Canada turned up - addressed to me.

For me?! For me?! Woof woof?!

Yes, Eve has come to witness the grand opening,
or open it for me anyway.
(my paws, you know, they can't do this sort of thing)

Oh my woofness, she had to restrain me when I read
the lovely, interesting handwritten letter inside...

 It was from my chums in Canada - Beckett, Keltic and their lovely mum , Helen.

After reading about my struggle to find a decent howlowe'en costume, Helen and the boys went and bought me some stuff.

I mean, how nice is that?! They're just so thoughtful, I can't thank them enough!!

Look, they even sent Eve (or I think they're for her, if not I'll

One year of bloggying

Hello folks!

This post should have been on Monday, but I didn't have the chance to do it then, I'm sorry.

BUT, here it is now! Whoopee woof woof!

On Monday it was exactly one year since I started bloggying!

The blog started when I began to read other doggies blogs, and decided it would be fun to type up some of my stories. I also thought it would be nice to show people what Scotland's like, a wee bit. It was a really good way for me to find out about other doggies living in many different places all over the world, too!

Our blogging year has been brilliant.
We've done so much, so the blog's been such a handy way to keep hold of my stories and pictures! Woof! Here are some of my favourite pictures from this year:

Yes, I do regret being unsocial.

Bertie's blog is absolutely brilliant! It never fails to amuse or interest me, so meeting him so spontaneously was super, even if I wasn't awfully social!

There's a lot more I could add to that short list, but we'll leave that today.

Eve has to help me out with the commenting because there's so many of you to get around.

But, because her internet's been acting the goat, it's sometimes been hard for her to visit your blogs, and also, she's getting to that point in school where there's more homework, more tests and more everything.

So please, please forgive us and don't be miffed that we can't come by and see you every day. We'd really love to, but we can't!

A most helpful experience at the Pet Shop

Hello folks!

Thank you for all your advice about my operation,
I now understand what anaesthetic is, woof!

But I really must dash, there's something important I need to do!

Now, I've heard Blogville's having a big Howlowe'en bash, hoorah!

Woof, I mean, I'm always bobbing for food out of my water bowl at home, and it's right fun, but I think I need to do something a bit more.

Eve and my peeps are a wee bit unsure about dogs dressing up, except when it comes to Christmas hats, but I've managed to persuade them that I really should make an effort.

So let's go a-costume-hunting!

Hmm, Chrimbo toys. Don't they know there's still 72
days to go?

Hmm, Chrimbo costumes.
Woof, have I missed Hallowe'en?
Is it December already?
Woof?

Maybe I'll ask a member of staff...

Excuse me, but could you tell me where the Hallowe'en costumes are?
I can't find any, and I'm not sure a Christmas pudding costume
will give anyone a real fright.

"Weell, I da ken. Hud aun a tick-
HUMPSTER? Fars the hulloween cliys?"

"Oh, I dinnae ken. Ging ower there an' ask
'em fishes."

"Fa d'ye think we er? We sweem aboot in a tunk a' day,
de ye really think we ken?"

"A hulloween costume? Fit ye efter that fir?"

"Fits adee mutt? Hullowe'en clys? I huvnae
seen 'em afore, I just bide in me glass hoosie here."

Well, I guess I'll just have to be a Christmas pudding this year. Don't you snigger pups!
