Luminous Leg-its

Hello folks! Woof!
Recently, I've noticed this up-and-coming breed of humans. Woof!

They're getting very common, and I like to call them The Luminous Leg-its!

Come back, come back, woof!
Here we have a fine example of a Luminous Leg-it.

We can easily recognise them due to their vivid, all-weather uniforms.

This young lady ran past me along the River Don today, and, like I always do, I thought "Ooooh, a human! Must speak to her..."

Woof, you see, I'm a very friendly dog when it comes to humans (yeah, I'm a coward with dogs), and I love speaking to everyone. At the bus stop, I walk along and all the old wifies coo over me!

Anyway, I tried to speak to this lady, but she ran away!

STOP!! I need to say hello to you!
However much I cried, she just ran away from me, like she was running for her life from a scary thingie.

She just wouldn't stop, and I don't know why!

I mean, I'm not that scary, am I? Woof?

Oh for goodness sake! You're just a scaredy cat, you!
I've come to the conclusion that these impolite humans are just big chickens. They run too fast, and won't even stop for a wee sheltie like me.

Whiney, whine!
So, it is my new mission to catch one!

Hope you have a super week!

Pippa :) wuf wuf

  1. LOL Pippa you get one and bite their ankles. I am after the lycra louts on our parks and their bikes.
    Have a serene Sunday.
    Best wishes Molly

  2. Good luck bagging your first luminous leg-its. We have a bike you can borrow :)
ps, Mum was just making an ordinary fruit cake, Dad loves them (he would eat Christmas cake all year round, given the chance!)
    Dip Bridge and Elliot x

  3. Oh Pippa, I see them all the time, and their cousins the luminous pedal-its. But as for catching them, I fear it is a hopeless case. And one has to ask oneself, would a human so keen to hasten away from a gorgeous dog (like you and me) be worth barking to anyway?
    Toodle pip!

  4. What in the world is wrong with peeps anyway, like you all we wanta do is talk. Now Dad stop for every doggie we meet to talk to and pet!

    The Mad Scots

  5. Some humans are dumb and impolite, they don't understand us :/

  6. She should have at least yelled hello is she was in such a hurry . . . . .Sigh! People can be so rude! Lee and Phod

  7. I think they be pretty boring peoples any way, Pippa. All they do is run, run, run. More fun to take walkies and enjoy the scenery.

  8. OMD, that was so funny Pippa!! That was just plain rude of that big chicken lady to run away from you!!
Who would be afraid of your sweet face??! Pfffft. Obviously she was raised in a barn.
Good luck with the next one!

  16. Those humans were so rude to keep running like that and not even saying woof to u.

  17. I always stop for nice pups during my runs. If I lived there, I would be sure to stop and say Hi.

  18. Hoping you catch one! They treat me the same way. Ugh. They just don't get us!

  19. Oh wow. A rare luminous leg-it! We don't have many of those here. Good luck catching one!

  20. My boys are pretty good when people walk by, but can be obnoxious when other dogs are around.
